Founded at the height of the Millennial/Gen Z invasion, wo + men of an age witnessed the hyperbolic growth and attention paid to the youth market as the 50+ market was aged out, while in fact, the 50+ market began to explode. What has remained true of the 50+ demographic is the entrepreneurial and mentoring spirit of imagining, forming, funding, and growing the next generation of age innovation. Our goal during this period has been to change the way our society looks at and evaluates the over fifty demographic. We demand more recognition of and investment into, an underserved growing group of entrepreneurs, educators and mentors – women and men over 50.
wo + men (WOAA) of an age is an established not-for-profit with the expectation of rapid expansion in the adults 50+ industry. The company is formed as a non-profit organization, under Ohio state laws, headed by Joan Welsch and Kelly Mizener
